Name: The Seas with Nemo and Friends
Type: Ride, Slow-moving
Location: Epcot, in Future World, in the Living Seas Pavilion
The Gist: Board a "clamobile" and travel through scenes from "Finding Nemo", ending up infront of an actual aquarium, where, in a clever bit of technology, characters from the film are projected amongst real dolphins, turtles, fish and sharks.
A Must-Do For: "Finding Nemo" fans, little kids who are bored with the other stuff at Epcot, people who like aquariums.
Avoid If: Can't really think of any good reasons to avoid, unless you have a problem with the illusion of being underwater.
Fear Factor: 1/10. This is a ride built for small children. It moves about 3 miles an hour. The only thing that could frighten little ones is a brief scene where one of those glow-in-the-dark fish (a fake one, of course) tries to attack Dory and Marlin.
Lines and Other Tips: There is absolutely never, ever a line for this ride. Ever. I mean, the queue itself is for some reason about a mile long, so there is that walking time. But you never have to wait. Seriously, Gabriel and I accidentally went to Epcot on during one of the busiest weeks of the year. We couldn't get on anything at all except this. And we still only waited five minutes. This is the most reliable of all the rides here. If everything else is too busy, well, hell, there's always Nemo.
I like this one. It is a nice, peacefull relaxing way to spend a few minutes. Plus, I love looking around the Living Seas pavilion when they let you off. They have some cool shit in there!
xoxo, Lily
