Name: Le Chefs de France
Location: Epcot, in the World Showcase France Pavilion
Cuisine: French
Type: Table Service
Good For Those Who: Like things made with gruyere cheese and lots of cream.
Price Range: Listed in the $$ range, which is about $15-$35 per person. Lunch entrees are $20-$25 ish, and dinner entrees are closer to $30.
Times: Lunch from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, dinner from 4:30pm to 9:00pm.
Reservations: Strongly recommended. You can make one on the Walt Disney World website.
My Recommendation: The best thing about this place is their prix fixe 3-course deal, which is only $24 a person at lunch and $40 a person at dinner. It includes a choice of soup (the French onion is to die for, not kidding- best I've ever tasted), a choice between certain entrees (at lunch, the ham & cheese was also wonderful) and a dessert (chocolate mousse was great, but I doubt you can go wrong here!). I really like the prix fixe option, because you get to try 3 different things for much less than if you ordered them individually (yep, did the math). A word of warning, though: if you go for this option, don't plan on eating much the rest of the day- you stay full forever, idk, maybe it's all the heavy sauces. My boyfriend and I ate lunch here- LUNCH, and we didn't couldn't eat a bite until the next morning.
Healthier Options: Well, selections change seasonally, but when we were there, they had like a veggie lasagna thing, as well as like some roasted chicken with broccoli. This place doesn't have a whole lot that isn't drenched in cream and cheese and buttery sauces... gotta love the French, man.
If you want to feel fancy without spending your life savings, this is a great choice. I guess it is impossible to not feel classy while dining on French cuisine.
Btw, the waitors her are HOT. Jsyk.
xoxo, Lily.
